Melissa’s shoot was really cool. We had the whole Renaissance Festival grounds to ourselves. Well, except for some random dude on the djembe drum and about 1 gazillion mosquitos, we were all alone. Now if you’ve ever witnessed the Festival, you’d know there’s thousands of people who frequent the grounds each day. It’s insane. So entertaining, but so jam packed it’s hard to sometimes even get from point A to point B to get that delicious turkey leg. We were able to move about the grounds freely during her session, but we did battle the bugs and mud. Melissa was a trooper and a great tour guide. I had a blast!
Melissa and her mother are performers in the Festival and it’s a really big part of their lives so we incorporated this into her senior session. I thought it was really neat to see the behind the scenes of the grounds and also see Melissa in her element. I took my family a few weeks later to watch her in action and was seriously impressed!
